WEDNESDAY’S SPACE GIRL
I felt like taking a little break from drawing the bounty hunters from TELLOS for at least a day. My usual fall-back favorite thing to sketch when I want to do something quick is a woman in a space suit on a relatively barren and foreboding alien world. So I figured, why not go with that again for today…? I like women… I like science fiction… and I like space suits. So with all that in mind, I’ll leave you with today’s young lady on a strange world somewhere in space. I’m going to keep it brief and do a fast in-and-out today. I need to get to work, and this sketch took me longer to do than I thought it would. So much for something quick as a fall-back… ๐
Have a great day, all.
This is Entrty 405.

Your penguinal space ship is really funny… must look like it’s giving birth when people are exiting…

Not so much a FEAR Agent as a LOVE Agent, eh, Mike? Megan’s also on the money with “penguin ship” remark, too. Kudos.

I love the bubbleheaded space suits and that Spaceship is great, though you might have to move the ladder to the side in order to maintain a PG rating.

Nice space suit! Been having a hard time with the classic helmet look on my mini-comic (soon to be a weekly online comic) ‘Space Grrrl’ http://www.alpineunderground.com/spacegrrrl/sg1.html

Mike,
Your gal’s spacesuit may be much closer to Science Fact than Science Fiction.
Dava Newman, a female professor at MIT – where else – has designed a new spacesuit called a biosuit.
You can check it out here.

so is it true that space girls are “easy”
how about angelina jolie from sky captain and the world of tomorrow?

NICE pic! And as much as I love the main image of the girl, I have to say that the quirky ship is what is the most memorable. I lOVE that design… “Cute” spaceships are rare.
